Terms of Use

Welcome to DealsSpy.com. These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and DealsSpy ("DealsSpy", "we", "us" or "our") and apply to your use of the DealsSpy website, deal alerts and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Please note: DealsSpy is not a store. We find and post deals from other stores, and we may earn a commission when you buy through our links. Read our Affiliate Disclosure.

  1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use. The Service is not directed to children under 13.

  1. What DealsSpy does

DealsSpy shows deals, coupons, promo codes and price drops offered by third-party stores and brands such as Amazon, Walmart, Target and Best Buy. We do not sell products, take payments, ship orders or handle returns. When you follow a deal you leave DealsSpy, and any purchase is a transaction between you and that store, under the store's own terms, prices, shipping, return and warranty policies.

Deals and information on the Service are provided for general information only. Before you buy, read the offer details and terms on the store's site. Nothing on the Service creates a contract between you and DealsSpy or entitles you to any price or offer.

  1. Prices, availability and coupons

Prices and availability are set by the stores and are accurate as of the date/time indicated; they can change at any time without notice. A deal may sell out, end early, be limited to certain sellers, locations or members (for example Amazon Prime or Walmart+), or not be available to you. Coupons and promo codes may expire or stop working. The price and terms the store shows at checkout are the ones that apply. All prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.

  1. Affiliate links and compensation

Many links on the Service, in our deal alerts and on our social channels are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may receive a commission from the store or an affiliate network, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, DealsSpy earns from qualifying purchases. Paid placements are labeled as sponsored. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

  1. Votes, feedback and other content you send

You can rate deals with Spy check votes, tell us whether a deal worked for you, and email us deal tips, corrections or feedback ("Your Content"). You are responsible for Your Content and must have the right to share it. You agree that:

  • each vote reflects your own honest opinion, and you vote once per deal;
  • you will not cast fake or paid votes, use bots, scripts or multiple devices or browsers to change vote counts, or ask or pay others to vote;
  • you will not send anything unlawful, misleading, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights or contains personal information about another person;
  • you will not send spam, advertising, malware or links meant to mislead.

We may remove or disregard any vote or content, and limit or block voting from any device, at our discretion. You grant DealsSpy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, copy, display and adapt Your Content to run, improve and promote the Service. Vote totals are shown without your name.

  1. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

  • use the Service in violation of any law or for any fraudulent purpose;
  • scrape, crawl, copy or harvest content or data from the Service by automated means, except for general-purpose search engines that follow our robots.txt;
  • generate fake clicks on deal links, interfere with affiliate tracking or commissions, or use our links to stuff cookies;
  • bypass or interfere with security or anti-abuse features, such as the Cloudflare Turnstile check or rate limits;
  • overload, disrupt, probe or attack the Service or the systems that run it, or upload viruses or other harmful code;
  • frame or mirror the Service, or republish our content for commercial purposes, without our written permission;
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your connection with anyone, including DealsSpy.
  1. Our content and trademarks

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos and software, is owned by DealsSpy or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. Store and brand names, logos and product images belong to their owners; showing them does not mean those owners endorse or are affiliated with DealsSpy.

  1. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent at support@dealsspy.com that includes:

  • your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for the owner;
  • identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
  • identification of the material you claim is infringing and enough information for us to find it, such as its URL;
  • your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
  • a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

If material you provided was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) to the same address. We may restore the material unless the complainant tells us it has filed a court action. We may end access for anyone who repeatedly infringes. Knowingly false notices or counter-notices can lead to liability for damages.

  1. Third-party sites and channels

The Service links to stores and other websites, and we may post deals on third-party platforms such as messaging apps and social networks. We do not control and are not responsible for those sites or platforms, their content, products, privacy practices or availability. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies. Deal alerts we post on those channels follow these Terms, may contain affiliate links, and show prices as of the time they were posted.

  1. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL DEALS, PRICES AND INFORMATION ON IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY DEAL, PRICE, COUPON OR DESCRIPTION IS ACCURATE, CURRENT, COMPLETE OR AVAILABLE, THAT ANY STORE WILL HONOR IT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY ABOUT ANY PRODUCT SOLD BY A THIRD PARTY. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

  1. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEALSSPY AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, ANY DEAL OR ANY PURCHASE YOU MAKE FROM A THIRD PARTY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US $50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you in full.

  1. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless DealsSpy and its owners, employees and partners from any claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from Your Content, your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of anyone's rights.

  1. Governing law and disputes

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service, are governed by applicable US federal law and the laws of the state in which DealsSpy is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

Before bringing a claim, please contact us at support@dealsspy.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by contract.

  1. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed, and for material changes we will give notice on the Service. Changes apply from the date they are posted. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.

  1. Ending your use

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access, including your ability to vote, if we believe you have broken these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 5, 7 and 10 to 13) continue to apply.

  1. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
