Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

DealsSpy does not sell your personal information for money. But like most websites that use analytics and advertising tools, we let partners such as Google set cookies and collect information about your visits (for example your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you view). Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) and similar US state laws, letting partners use that information for cross-context behavioral advertising (ads based on your activity across different sites) or analytics they also use for their own purposes may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or as "targeted advertising".

You can opt out of that here, on this browser. When you opt out we:

  • tell Google Analytics not to use Google signals or the data for ad personalization;
  • ask Google AdSense, when ads are shown, for non-personalized ads only;
  • do not add any other advertising or analytics partner that would receive your information for targeted advertising.

Global Privacy Control

We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser or extension as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising, for that browser. While GPC is on, the switch above stays on. To opt in again, turn GPC off in your browser first.

We do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals, which have no agreed meaning; we honor GPC instead.

Good to know

  • Affiliate links still work. When you click a deal, the store or its affiliate network can still record that your visit came from DealsSpy, so we can be paid a commission. That happens on the store's site, under the store's privacy policy.
  • Your list stays on your device. Saved deals, recently viewed deals and the stores you follow are kept in your browser and are not shared with advertisers.
  • No sensitive information. We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as precise location, financial account details or government IDs), so there is nothing to limit there.
  • No account needed. Because we don't have your name or an account for you, an opt-out applies to the browser where you set it. To make a request that covers more than one browser, or to ask about other rights such as access or deletion, email privacy@dealsspy.com.
